Delivery Quality & Track Record

Over the past 10 years, Pecten Development has trained more than 1,000 candidates across Shell and partner organisations worldwide.

Our courses consistently achieve a 99% completion rate, with excellent feedback across all delivery modes.

To maintain engagement and delivery quality, face-to-face weeks are strictly capped at 20 participants. For larger groups, we offer back-to-back sessions — never exceeding the 20-person limit.

We do not offer virtual alternatives to the face-to-face week. In our experience, online-only delivery simply doesn't deliver the same value, focus, or learning outcomes. The in-person week is central to the success of the course — and we won’t compromise on that.

How Our Courses Work

All courses delivered by Pecten Development follow a proven three-phase structure that maximises learning impact and delivers real business value:

This structure applies across all Pecten courses, with content tailored to the audience and asset.

Built Around Your Plant and Processes

Pecten Development courses don’t use off-the-shelf content. During the online phase, each candidate provides input on their asset’s equipment, control systems, workflows, and operating challenges. This data forms the basis for technical targeting.

The face-to-face delivery is then adapted accordingly — selecting relevant case studies, adjusting team exercises, and focusing discussion on the technologies and practices candidates actually use.

The result? Training that speaks their language — and delivers real operational value.

Course Pricing

Our course pricing is intentionally competitive — typically half the cost of comparable offerings. Unlike many providers, we include full online delivery, customisation, and a face-to-face workshop as part of the package.

Final pricing depends on location and delivery method, but we’ll always be up front - no hidden costs.
